  13. The Computer Reseller Mailing List is designed to support interactive
  14. communications among resellers, VARs and system integrators of computing
  15. products. Its primary purpose is for the discussion of the wide variety
  16. of business issues facing resellers, and can range from the effective
  17. sales and marketing practices for resellers, to the effective and
  18. profitable delivery of services, technical support or training.
  19.  
  20. This list is specifically *not* for the discussion of technical issues
  21. or problems, nor is any discussion of actual pricing or price
  22. fixing/collusion allowed. Vendors of computing goods may freely
  23. participate, although crass commercial postings are not welcome.
  24.  
  25. Your messages and .sig files can provide "light" selling, although
  26. messages *should* be informative rather than opportunistic. If you're
  27. interested in *sponsoring* the list for some period of time, please
  28. contact the list owner for more details.

  30. On the other hand, the list is a great resource for finding partners
  31. that provide complementary services, or can provide coverage in regions
  32. in which you don't have a direct presence.

  34. Any vendor or reseller not following the charter of the group will
  35. be barred from participating. In addition, flame wars will not be
  36. tolerated, and any participant provoking or engaging in flamage
  37. will be dropped from the list.
